A former professional boxer, a former British kickboxing champion and a trained ABA coach. Between them they have spent years putting Coventry fighters in rings and beginners at ease.
Founder and Head Coach
Michael is an ex professional boxer and a former British kickboxing champion who has spent years coaching in Coventry.
He founded Fight Academy to build the gym he wished had existed when he started: one where a nervous beginner and a registered amateur can train under the same roof, on the same night, and both leave better for it.
I truly believe in hard work, dedication and self discipline.

Co-Founder and ABA Coach
Chris is a local businessman, a trained ABA coach and Michael’s long standing friend. He co-founded Fight Academy and helps steer both the amateur programme and the running of the club.
His focus is the competitive side of the gym and making sure the club stays on a footing that lets it serve the community for the long run.
A gym is only as good as the people who keep turning up.

Every coach working with juniors holds an enhanced check.
Someone qualified is on the floor for every session.
Our amateur programme runs under proper governing body rules.
Junior sessions are supervised and parents are welcome to stay.
